My daily carb allowance is 75. I didn’t choose that amount, the app that I use assigned it to me. I rarely ever get to that amount. Even with today’s higher carb lunch/dinner combo… I’ll not even get close.
I hate to omit legumes completely… They are so healthy so I do add them sometimes.
I could have omitted the low carb wrap and the beans… That would have lowered it substantially, but I wanted it to taste like an enchirito (I love taco bell). A taco salad would be less carbs.
But this was MOST excellent!!!!
To keep my count low, later my choices will be a few hard boiled eggs and some vegetables. I also like to eat a cheese stick when I get a little hungry.

We went to the most wonderful wedding last night. Dinner was breakfast! Low carb dream!! There was a slight slip on the carbs that I don’t usually allow to happen …. and it was only slight. Regardless. No guilt and no regrets, moving on.
Today Breakfast / Lunch is tuna melt. These low carb wraps from Aldi’s are only 4 net carbs. I don’t eat them often but they make the most delish tuna wraps!
4.4 net carbs!
This is super filling. I had a late start this morning and this will keep me full until a late dinner! Though to address the little carb slip, I am not sure how that will affect my hunger today.

Almost 2 months to loose 10lbs! I’ve heard other’s achieve faster results .. but this is my journey and I am so happy to have come this far. After 2 years of gaining slowly to get to this point. 2 consistent days at this weight before I posted because the scale is not always consistent!

Husband’s meal is eggs, cheddar and avocado! I was a bit jealous of his plate 😂 but mine was delicious!
I don’t know if it’s true or just coincidence but it seems like hard boiled eggs seem to “egg on” my weight loss! Lol
So 10 lbs down today I AM celebrating! Not with food!!

I never intended to do one meal a day but on low carb lately it has been happening with a low carb snack or 2 throughout the day. I do of course have coffee for breakfast but no meal.
I am not hungry often so I think less about food. I am not getting the shaky feeling that I used to get, a while after eating a sugary or carby food. When my blood sugar would crash so I’d eat more. Also, when I eat my BLD ( breakfast lunch and dinner) I eat something I love so it is totally satisfying and filling. Like today!
Chicken, bacon, cheese, ranch and lettuce!!!

Just 1 or 2 minutes from fridge to table!
I microwaved 1 slice Swiss. 2 slice turkey on top of 1 low carb wrap for about 20 seconds just to get the chill off. Added the la tera fina spinach artichoke and Parmesan dip on the side. The wrap has no sauce on it and it is just a light pure clean taste! Very comforting and filling. The dip is my love so I add it on the side when I can!

I didn’t want the normal breakfast today. Craving toast and jelly! I almost wished that I would have ordered that low carb jelly I saw online.
Then I remembered that I had frozen strawberries!!!
I defrosted a handful of frozen strawberries. I threw them in the food processor and puree them. I added one packet of artificial sweetener.

Definitely lower carb than true cheese cake, BUT still having some carbs though, this would be for a special occasion. It is honestly very very special!
8 oz cream cheese softened. 8oz whipping cream (I used cool whip But there are definitely lower carb options that you could use instead of cool whip). 7 artificial sweetener packets. ( I always mix the blue, yellow and pink packets). Mix these ingredients all together until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate while you prepare strawberries. I cut up strawberries, either fresh or frozen. Mix artificial sweetener with a few tablespoons of water and mix into the strawberries. Only a few packets of sweetener are needed for the strawberries as they are usually naturally sweet.
Serve in small dishes as it would be easy to consume to many carbs with this delicious treat!
Scoop the strawberry mixture over the cheesecake mixture!
My daughter brought this home for me to try. I would not have bought this for myself because the individual serving would feel too self indulgent to purchase for myself. Actually though… That’s wrong. I think this would be a great purchase, if I were going to a party and everyone would have dessert… In just a few moments I could also have my own delicious decadent dessert!
It was So Delicious and FILLING! Usually desserts leave me wanting more, but all the protein changed that for me!

18 days today and my loss is 9.6 lbs, almost 10!!! I am so happy with myself for sticking with it. Some days the scale hasn’t moved much BUT, here I am almost 10 pounds down.
I have 37 more pounds that I would still like to loose. My clothes feel less tight, and most of my sweet cravings are gone. I do drink diet caffeine free Coke at night as a “snack”. When I get hungry I am craving salads and veggies and meat and cheese. I am a sugar addict so this change in cravings is huge for me!
Today we had Mexican food for dinner. So sad that I didn’t have any avocados but it was delicious and filling none the less. Below are my dinner chooses for today. I didn’t use any wraps or chips… Though I know they do have low carb versions and I like it either way!
